Care Philosophy "Keeping people healthy, and allowing them to live more active, productive, and fulfilled lives, is my goal.  Anything less is just a stop-gap approach to medicine."

Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Alinsod received his nursing degree from Loma Linda University where he learned the art of working with patients and the need for better caring physicians.  While working as a nurse, he then continued his education at Loma Linda University School of Medicine after being awarded a Health Profession Scholarship by the U.S. Air Force.  Named to the Dean's List of Distinguished Students throughout his college and medical school years, Dr. Alinsod graduated from medicine in 1989 as a member of Medicine's Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society. 

Dr. Alinsod continued his training as a physician in the area of Family Medicine at Eglin Air Force Base Regional Hospital in Florida.  As an officer in the military, he was an active  member on numerous hospital councils and committees, and as Chief Resident, Dr. Alinsod had the opportunity to be involved with improving patient and hospital policies concerning health care. 

Upon completion of his Family Practice Residency, Dr. Alinsod was assigned to Osan Air Base in Korea and then back to Southern California at March Air Force Base.  He was awarded several commendation medals for his excellence in patient care. 

Prior to opening his private practice, Dr. Alinsod worked for various medical groups in the San Fernando Valley. He is a member of the American and California Academies of Family Physicians.  Dr. Alinsod sees patients of all ages and speaks English as well as limited Tagalog.

A native of Southern California, Dr. Alinsod enjoys interests as diverse as those offered in the area, such as watching sporting events, snow and water skiing, golf, photography, and traveling.  Most of all, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and young daughter and son.  Dr. Alinsod is one physician who truly enjoys his work, but also believes in a balanced lifestyle
